The Water Ripple Symbol:
The Water Ripple is a symbol of hope for Umthombo Wolwazi, The quest to replicate a knowledge based society through a planned educational framework is at the fore front of the operations. Umthombo Wolwazi is an IsiZulu name translated as “Well of Knowledge”.
The Water Ripple speaks to the nature of learning – ‘a single drop creates a thousand ripples’. As we make contact with a teacher and in turn the class we create a ripple effect that spreads throughout the country from one learner to another, bringing change to our society at a fundamental level.
